Our Child-Focused Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is a strength-based initiative that focuses on empowering children, youth, and their families. It emphasizes personal objectives, providing individualized and group rehabilitation sessions tailored to each child’s needs.

We serve children and adolescents between the ages of 5-17, offering age-appropriate support and interventions.

We assist families and children with their educational growth, providing support for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. Additionally, we play an advocacy role for involved families, strengthening communication between children, parents, and teachers.

The program places emphasis on enhancing communication, social skills, and wellness. We guide children and youth in making positive choices, building resilience, coping skills, building friendships, self-care, and fostering essential daily living skills.

We conduct thorough assessments and consultations both on and off-site with the child and their family. This collaborative approach ensures the effective addressing of each individual’s unique needs and tailoring rehabilitation goals accordingly.

ELIGIBILITY AND REFERRAL

Eligibility requires the child to be between 5-17 years old, actively participating in mental health treatment, referred by a licensed mental health professional, diagnosed with a behavioral health condition, and willing to participate in PRP services.

We proudly serve the Bel Air, Maryland, and Harford County communities.

We accept both Medicaid and private pay.
